Password-Free Login with Passkey

What is a passkey?

A passkey is a secure sign-in method that replaces the traditional password. It uses your device's biometrics or lock screen — fingerprint, Face ID, or PIN — to authenticate you in a single gesture, without ever having to type or remember a password.

Why use a passkey to access the Studio?
  • Faster — sign in with one tap, no email or password to type
  • More secure — no code sent by email, no password to store or forget
  • Anti-phishing — the passkey is tied to your device and the studio.mydid.com domain, making it impossible to intercept
  • Universal — works on smartphones, tablets, and computers

How to set up your passkey

Option 1 — At sign-in

  1. Go to studio.mydid.com
  2. A prompt appears: "Sign in faster next time"
  3. Click "Set up a passkey"
  4. Your device asks you to authenticate (fingerprint, Face ID, or PIN)
  5. Your passkey is saved

Option 2 — From account settings

  1. In the left menu, click Account
  2. Select the Security tab
  3. Under the Passkeys section, click "Add a passkey"
  4. Give your passkey a name (optional, e.g. "personal MacBook", "work iPhone") to identify it easily if you manage several
  5. Click "Continue"
  6. Your device asks you to authenticate
  7. Your passkey is saved and appears in the list

How to sign in with a passkey
  1. Go to studio.mydid.com
  2. Select your account
  3. Authenticate with your fingerprint, Face ID, or device lock
  4. You're taken straight into the Studio — no password, no email code

Can I skip the setup?

Yes, click "Later" at sign-in to continue with your usual method. You can set up your passkey at any time via Account > Security.

Does a passkey work across multiple devices?

Each passkey is tied to the device it was created on. You can add multiple passkeys from Account > Security > Add a passkey.

What happens if I change devices?

Set up a new passkey on your new device. Outdated passkeys can be removed from Account > Security.
