Setting Up Discord Analysis

The Discord connection is based on a myDid bot to be installed on your server. Once in place, it automatically retrieves and analyzes messages and interactions from your channels.
The setup is done in 3 steps.

Step 1 — Bot Installation

Click "Get the invite link" to generate the myDid bot installation link.
Then follow the instructions:

  1. Click the generated link
  2. Select the Discord server where you want to add the bot
  3. Grant the required permissions: read messages & statistics

The bot must be added to the server before moving on to the next step.

Step 2 — Connection Test

Once the bot has been added to your server, click "Test connection". The Studio automatically checks three things:

  • Bot detected — the bot is present on the server
  • Admin rights — the bot has the necessary rights
  • Permissions OK — read permissions are correctly configured

All three indicators must be validated before moving on to the next step.

Step 3 — Synchronization

Once the connection test is successful, click "Launch Synchronization". The bot begins collecting data from your Discord server and feeds it into the dashboard for analysis.
Depending on the volume of messages on your server, the first synchronization may take a few minutes.

Reminder — Limits by plan

  • Growth — 1 server + 3 channels
  • Leader — 1 server + 10 channels

To monitor additional channels, upgrade to a higher plan from Account > Plans.
